By day, I lead marketing strategies for a global firm. By night, I am a mother, a creator, and someone deeply drawn to the art of intentional living.
My journey into luxury candle-making didn't begin in a studio. It began during a high-pressure corporate career, layered with the beautiful chaos of motherhood, a time when I was searching for balance, grounding, and a sense of reset.
In a world that moves fast, candle-making became my way of pressing pause. Each pour, each scent, and each detail reflected a desire to bring softness and intention back into everyday living.

During my second maternity leave, I found myself craving a way to turn my home into a sanctuary after long days of meetings and parenting. I wanted more than a beautiful candle, I wanted one that worked.
A candle that:

- Used clean, non-toxic ingredients
- Carried a rich, lasting fragrance
- Felt luxurious without compromise
When I couldn't find the perfect balance of performance, safety, and elegance, I decided to create it myself.
What began as a personal experiment soon turned into something much bigger.
A Marketing Lab Turned Passion Project
House of Laraa started as a "marketing lab", a way to stay sharp during a career break. I immersed myself in understanding wax chemistry, fragrance load ratios, wick engineering, and sustainable sourcing.
Months were spent testing, refining, and perfecting every detail, from how quickly a room fills with scent to how cleanly a candle burns. Every decision was intentional. Every formula tested thoroughly.
